For seven years I saved two voicemails from my Dad every 21 days. I was inspired from this monthly reminder to create this experience in Morse Code. Both of the voicemails were recorded soon before he lost his battle with cancer. I anticipated the risk of losing these recordings because of their digital nature. Soon after making this piece my cell phone carrier switched my account with the promise of saving all data. This was not the case for these voicemails.
